Many of my friends consider Scoops Ice Cream (712 N. Heliotrope) to have some of the best ice cream in Los Angeles. I personally think it is hit or miss. Some of the flavors are great, some not so great. Luckily, they allow you to taste test before you purchase. I’d recommend going there. Locally owned. Various flavors that you won’t find at other ice cream shops. And a regular flow of people from the college next door.
