That was a really pathetic 1st half. The half time score was 24-23, Duke up by one. Duke actually could have trailed at half time, but closed the quarter well. Purdue took a quick 4-0 lead, but then did they throw up four or five air balls? Did I hear that Duke had 11 turnovers.
Luckily the game didn't turn around for Purdue in the second half. As for Duke, they turned it around. Jon Scheyer, mired in a March Madness shooting slump, hit a three pointer (assist I believe from Nolan Smith.) Jon gave props. Coach K. was ecstatic. And then Jon Scheyer was able to figure out the defense and drive to the basket. Beautiful. The big three put it together in the second half and Duke took out Purdue with relative ease.
