I've crossed paths with Sean Fleming a couple times in the past. I first came across him in 2021 at the Silverlake Lounge when The Little Miss was celebrating her birthday party. A year later, he was playing The Echo along side Night Talks. When I noticed he was playing the Americana Joy showcase at the Bigfoot Lodge, I decided I'd make the walk over to catch a third set. Yeah, that's right, I walked over there. It is about a 3 mile round trip to get the blood going on a Friday night.

His Spotify bio has the following description of his music, "Cosmic Americana gene." There is this added info, ". . . captivate audiences with their soulful harmonies, evocative storytelling and expansive soundscapes." It should be added that he also gets that captivated audience to showcase their country dance skills where boots are clicking and skirts are whirling through the air. His backing band included a steel guitar and, for me, that gives a set an added Americana jolt.

The song spotlight goes to "Love Crimes." The song's percussion beats at the start of the tune sets the atmosphere. One can easily imagine a horse and rider coming into town. His guitarist added backing vocals, providing a melodic blend of singing. Someone is in a rather complicated relationship where commitment is perhaps lacking.
