Maryjo brought her stunning vocals back to the WFNM showcase at Hotel Ziggy -- she said that this October set was her 6th time at the venue. She mentioned to the audience before her performance that she was going to be singing her saddest songs. There was more than just singing. There was much laugher, because there were some off the cuff sexual entendre one liners (as well as some more direct ones) -- she did threaten to hunt down people if they posted the comments online, but I'll take the chance as they were amusing.

Comment 5: Ed Sheeran makes me horny. I'm having fun, because these are all adults and are all my friends.
Comment 6: This song is about a G-string.
At one point, one of her friends responded to a sexual comment, "Don't worry, all the kids are over there." Of course, perhaps the same friend, gave a gasp when one of her comments went over the line. I won't make that Comment 7 as Maryjo just might hunt me down for putting down that quote.
That response about kids makes sense when taking into account that Kyra Fields was up just before her. Fields has a rather strong contingent of Gen Alpha fans who packed the venue 30 minutes earlier and were now hanging out in the hotel lobby to be near their music hero. If interested, I wrote a review of a her July set at Hotel Ziggy, which you can read here.

If you were wondering, yes, there was a 6 song performance. Sitting on a high chair and with a friend playing guitar, she sang an acoustic set that highlighted her raspy pitch perfect vocals. Those vocals were on display for her song "LIVING ROOM" which is her 2025 duet single release with Mergui.
The picture frames are emptyBut the memories hold on
I thought that ghosts were fiction
'Til the day that you were gone
The song spotlight goes to "Don't Call Me." The reason I'm going to go with that song is that I first crossed paths with her at another WFNM night way back in 2022 (side note is that Kyra Fields also played that night). Though I don't have the setlist from that night, I suspect that this song was on that setlist as it was released in 2023. Comment #3 was said prior to the song.
It is a song about a former boyfriend who still calls her even though at the same time she's hearing that he's bad mouthing her. She's not having any of it and the crowd cheered her on for her stance.
You can call me whatever you wantBut don't call me tonight
No don't call me tonight
Setlist: Don't Call Me, Cleveland, Ed Sheeran Medley (including Castle on the Hill), Strings, Sailor Song (Gigi Perez cover), LIVING ROOM.
