Corn Maiden at the Hollywood Farmers Market

Do you know where the best tamales are? Well, at the Hollywood Farmers Market there is a food stand called Corn Maiden. These guys make the best tamales. Luckily, I've seen their stand at various other events so the Hollywood Farmers market doesn't have a monopoly on these tamales.

I'm a vegetarian so I haven't tried all of their tamales, but let me tell you this: the blue corn, roasted green chile and Monterey Jack tamale rocks. Also, I tried a tamale which (if you increase the size of the photo to see the list of tamales) wasn't on the menu: ricotta cheese. Wow.

$3.50 a tamale.
