Pittsburgh Steelers vs. San Francisco 49ers: 3-20.

This was a game with great importance. If the Steelers won, they would have kept up with the Patriots and had a game up on Baltimore. It looked like the Steelers might win, but Big Ben threw two interceptions in the first quarter. Not a very good start and it just didn’t pick up from there. Watching Big Ben play, I just couldn’t help but think that he probably shouldn’t have played. He was very immobile, seldom going outside the pocket. For some QBs, that is fine, but we all know that Big Ben plays best when he can move around. I guess this game was a lesson in football: sometimes you really should stay on the sidelines. Got to give him credit; however. On the other hand, the coach should have pulled him starting the second half, telling him he just wasn’t healthy enough to play. Yes, they might have still lost, but sometimes a player actually hurts you versus helps you – even your best player.
