We have a emergency fire drill and the result is a nightmare.
I'm working in the office when all of a sudden some of the senior level folks are running around the floor. Everyone starts to coalesce together. I happen to look out the window and below I see folks running from the building. Firefighters and police start to arrive. The doors on our floor are locked down. No one knows what is happening. One thought is that there is a fire below us and we aren't being let down because of the smoke. Then a rumor spreads that a gunman is in the building. Everyone looks in panic at the doors, waiting for the doors to swing wide. Does the gunman just have a firearm or are there really terrorists in the building with machine guns. No gunfire is heard.
And then I woke up, in a sweat.
