It was off to Spaceland on Monday to catch Dirt Dress and Tijuana Panthers. It was a night of some stripped down rock. Though the crowd was smaller than when Eastern Conference Champions played Spaceland a couple weeks ago, the crowd was just as enthusiastic. A line of folks crowded near the front of the stage for both bands.
Tijuana Panthers. The bassist holds his bass high up his body, higher up than most bassists I've seen. And at times, when his body was turned at a certain angle it looked like he was holding a spear.
Dirt Dress is the residency band. I have a feeling the crowd will growth larger as the month progresses. I do believe their play list was on the drummers iPhone. What's next, let's look at the iPhone.
