Send Medicine and Bloody Death Skull at the Resident

A mini-New LA Folk Fest was happening at the Resident -- yep, I still remember that festival. I caught Send Medicine and Bloody Death Skull. Send Medicine opened up the night with relaxing sounds that one can enjoy between the chaos of Christmas and New Years. Bloody Death Skull went with the quirky folk music. Who can argue with the word quirky when one member of the band spent time rolling marbles around a plastic bowl and, I do believe, shining a light on rocks.
