Stories Books & Cafe: Mara Connor

Mara Connor. I happen to run across Mara Connor about every 6 months or so. It is always a joy. I love her voice. I love the simplicity of her music style. On this night, it was spent at Stories Books and Cafe in Echo Park. There's an open area in the rear of the bookstore that is used for such events. We were in the tail end of a 100 degree plus heatwave. It was hot, but there were a number of familiar faces in the audience and it was fun having conversations as well as listening to a talented musician.
