It wasn't pretty, but Duke advances.
Plumlee and Kelly almost immediately got into foul trouble and so the freshman (Sulaimon and Jefferson) had to step up.
Seth Curry had a slow start, but got going in the second half.
Thornton hit a wild three like he did last year in the Maui Tourney. This time, he did it as the 1st half was coming to a close. I'm sure it got Duke pumped.
The announces were saying Duke kept McDermott in check. I suppose so. He only shot 25%, but he still scored 21.
