A Book Review: Blood Work -- A Tale of Medicine and Murder in the Scientific Revolution

Blood Work by Holly Tucker. This book goes through the history of the initial attempts of blood transfusion during the 1600s. The focus is on a French doctor who was in search of respect, Jean-Baptiste Denis. Though this is the over-arching story, the book deals with the history of blood transfusion and the politics involved. It is an interesting read.
