This game didn't turn out the way one would hope. NC State beat Duke in a game that was close, but not exactly a down to the wire game. In the first half, Duke opened a decent lead, but NC State climbed back to take a lead going into half time.
Ryan Kelly wasn't able to play due to a foot injury that is going to keep him out for awhile. Though that can't be too big of an excuse as Josh Hairston and Amile Jefferson filled in ably.
What is a positive with Ryan Kelly out? Perhaps Amile Jefferson will have played himself into the rotation. If so, that would give Duke a solid 8 man rotation when Ryan Kelly comes back.
